We were together yesterday
Making plans for today
Plans on how to better the lives of many

But now she lives no more
To liberate the poor
No more
To lift them off the floor
Of abject poverty
Before it becomes a heredity
No more
To fulfill her core
And utmost obligation
To her people and her nation
Our beloved is no more
Adieu Mrs. Ọláyinká Fúnmiláyọ̀
Till we meet at that place
Where it is peace at every phase
