What is the origin of this syndrome?
Where did it come from?
Who watered it till it brought forth leaf
Till its' root could sustain its' long life ?
Like a drop of water it started
Getting bigger as we get populated
Now it's like mount Zion
Which we can't tread upon
But with it
Learn to abide every minute
Gradually it moves us towards extinction
Evil reigns supreme in our nation
Men had lost every sense of reasoning
Conscience no longer makes any meaning
'By force...by fire' is now the language
The 'Get rich' syndrome had taken over this age
Even the religious organisation
That is meant to be a house of correction
That should beat the right drum
To kill this syndrome
Preaches
Nothing but riches
Pocket is now a function
Directly proportional to ordination
And Christ was once the son of a carpenter
Born in a manger
With rich and poor Apostles
Wealthy and poverty stricken disciples
Yet he accorded no preferential treatment for the wealthy
At the expense of those in abject poverty
Who then will heal this generation of this syndrome?
Who will beat for the next the avoidance drum?
