I AM BLACK

I am black
I'm not impure
I am dark
I'm not a boor

Aren't we created by the same father?
Does colour sweeten cry?
Why claim to be better
If same soil swallows when we die?

I am black
I'm not impure
I am dark
I'm not a boor

THIS IS

This is not a love piece
Neither is it a love song
But the grease
Intended to make our love strong

This carries no love verse
Neither was it formed with such lyric
But our closeness, it's meant to nurse
And solidify like the brick

This is no rhyme
Neither is it a sonnet
But a sweet chime
That someday we'll become a unit

DEAR MOTHER

On the day of plenty
On the day many died for scanty
Your comfort, you traded first
My happiness, you nurtured next

Before voyaging the land of taking
You'll comfort me at the bay of eating
Then at night
You'll dance that I might take that flight
Mother, even angels in their divine state
Wish to dine with the same plate

On the day of plenty
On the day many died for scanty
Your comfort, you traded first
My happiness you nurtured next

A DREAM

I hate it, when you say you love me
I detest it, cause it's you I always see
Hearing you, makes me angry
You presence makes me fury
Please leave me alone
Murder, I don't want to make my own

The more you come closer
The more I grow bitter
You aren't what I need
My desire, you can't feed

Surely, this is a dream
Forever, it shall remain a dream

I MIGHT

I might not have a million
I might not be better than a pauper
With you as my companion
The wealthiest is never better

I might not be handsome
I might be worse than the ugliest
To your tent, my lady I come
Comfort I'll get, I can beat my chest

I might not be the best
The least might be better than me
Your heart, If you make for me a nest
Sail afloat, my ship shall be

I might lack the might
Definitely I'm not perfect
But I am Mr. Right
That's better, there ain't Mr. Perfect

THERE ARE WORDS

There are words not yet said
Poems not yet read
These I shall sort for you
The pain, I'm set to go through

There are words not yet used
Poems not yet fused
For you, I shall take this adventure
Its reality, I shall surely ensure

There are words not yet employed
Poems not yet alloyed
Beautiful, never enough for the unseen
Its plain, I shall erect you an inn

There are words not yet engaged
Poems not yet arranged
For you, they were being reserved
Never again shall they be conserved

IGNORE MY PRESENCE

Ignore my presence
Listen to my nonsense
Today it may possess no meaning
Some day it will affect your feeling

Ignore my presence
Listen, even if I employ wrong tense
Today it may be of no use
Some day it will surely break loose

Ignore my presence
Listening, the essence
Today you hear words
Tomorrow it may be cords

Ignore my presence
My target is your conscience
This one thing I will say
Your heart, God made his words inlay

IS LOVE WHITE OR BLACK?

I choose not to be black
You choose not to be white
Together, we should avoid being dark
Black or white, we are meant to be light

I choose not to be black
You choose not to be white
To succeed, we must be on same track
Our colour is only thing for the sight

I choose not to be black
You choose not to be white
 Is love white or black?
Is it not our purpose of being on this flight?

I choose not to be black
You choose not to be white
Together, we must amend this crack
That our chronicle may be solid and right
