MY FATHER'S WILL IS MINE

The first hit was it
Pain exploded like fire in my brain
Still I endured it
That you might God your father again

Three hours I hung on the tree
For you, I was given vinegar instead of wine
Blood flowed endlessly from every part of me
Still I hung, my father's will is mine

I heard the works of my hand insult me
'Come down if you are the true Messiah'
So soon they forget me; the true Rabboni
The wonders I did, even on my way to Golgotha

O beloved child
Why trace the path of old?
